BroadBand Light, or BBL, is an intense pulsed light technology used to improve selected pigmentation and vascular concerns. It is especially useful when the problem is color rather than texture or volume.

Dr. Nivine selects filters and energy settings based on skin type and the exact color being treated. BBL is not appropriate for every pigmentation problem, particularly some forms of melasma.

Some patients benefit from combining BroadBand Light (BBL) with treatments that address a different layer. Depending on the concern, Dr. Nivine may consider Cosmelan Peel, Chemical Peels, Skin Boosters, Heleo4 LED Therapy. More than one treatment is considered only when the modalities act on different layers or mechanisms.
